Building Nations.

Building Economies.

Serving Indian Country.

We understand the importance of gaming to our tribal clients. We know that tribal gaming produces the revenues that drive the economies of our clients. It, therefore, is essential that our clients have the knowledge and information they need to protect, safeguard and advance their success in the gaming realm.

While the gaming arena occupies center stage at Homer Law, we are available to serve in other areas of Indian law. We have handled transactional matters, contract negotiations, trust acquisitions, self-governance matters, environment and natural resources matters as well as development projects. Most of our clients have been with us for many years, but we often serve in a limited capacity to assist tribal governments review and revise their laws, regulations, and institutions. We have also developed a number of educational packages for individual clients, often in conjunction with formal institutional reviews. We have represented tribal governments before federal agencies in administrative matters as well and have successfully negotiated settlements in several matters.

Elizabeth Homer

Principal Attorney, Homer Law, Chtd.

Homer Law was founded by Elizabeth Lohah Homer, an enrolled member of the Osage Nation of Oklahoma, following a ten-year career in federal service, the final three of which she served as Vice-chair of the National Indian Gaming Commission. An avid champion of tribal sovereignty, self-determination, and self-governance, she has largely limited her practice to serving tribal governments, organizations, and enterprises in the gaming field.

Our close proximity to federal agencies and departments allows us to stay on top of policy trends, statutory and regulatory developments, and emerging issues in order that we may keep our clients properly informed and advised.
